Beyonce and Jay Z wedding rumour turned out true. Beyonce and Jay Z has tied the knot in the hip-hop mogul's Tribeca apartment building in New York City on the evening of April 4, 2008.
Though no official confirmation was available, a friend closed to the couple told People, "It happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair – close friends and family."
The Jay Z and Beyonce wedding ceremony was witnessed by Beyoncé's mother Tina Knowles, her father Mathew, sister Solange, her Destiny's Child mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple's friend Gwyneth Paltrow among others.
