Dmitry Medvedev Sworn-in as Russian President

Dmitry Medvedev, the Protégé of Vladimir Putin, has taken the Russian presidential oath of office on May 7, becoming the 3rd President of Russia since the 1991 Soviet collapse.

Dmitry Medvedev, 42, who was elected on March 2, is the youngest Russian leader since Tsar Nicholas II. But this young Russian President has to live the shadow of his 55-year-old mentor Putin.
