Daniel Wayne Smith died yesterday while visiting his mother, who gave birth to a baby girl three days earlier at the hospital in Nassau, Reginald Ferguson, assistant commissioner of the Royal Bahamian Police Force, said.
Daniel Smith was in the Caribbean nation where his mother, 38, gave birth to a healthy girl [not known who fathered her] on Thursday, Stern said.
Update: Authorities in the Bahamas said Tuesday that the sudden death of Anna Nicole Smith's son over the weekend could not be attributed to natural causes, but refused to elaborate.
