Stephen Taylor, 45, is a teaching assistant in the British city of Coventry. His 9.5-cm-long tongue (measured from the tip to the center of his closed top lip) was recognized as the world's longest human tongue by the Guinness World Record. It is so long that he can easily use the tongue to swat his nostrils.
However, never to Stephen's expectation, his tongue has been continuing to grow, which currently has a length of 10 cm. "This is really too surprising. Generally speaking, one's tongue doesn't continue to grow, but my tongue is unique, " said Stephen. What he worries about now is that his mouth might not hold his tongue no longer if it still continued to grow.
Anyway, Stephen's tongue not only brings him the fame, but also helps him win a girlfriend. His fiancee Rachel Evans says : "When I first got to know him, I was surprised to see that he has such a long tongue. Before we became the lovers, he extended it to let me have a look and teased me to laugh." Stephen believes that there is no any problem when kissing his heartthrob, but Rachel obviously has a different view: "In fact, I am unable to enjoy the pleasure brought by kissing, because I am afraid that his long tongue can let me suffocate!”
