Jaime Katheryn Steen, pictured above, is an Agriculture teacher at Fort Stockton High School in southwest Texas. She turned herself in to Tom Green County jail Wednesday October 22 on charges that she sent adult pornographic pictures by the short text messages to her male teen students.  

Jaime Katheryn Steen was booked on a $4,000 bond and free on Friday. She has resigned as a teacher.

The charge against Jamie Steen, selling or distributing or displaying harmful material to a minor, is a misdemeanor punishable by 180 days to a year in jail.

Ms. Steen, 26, was only a first-year teacher. OJ Simpson Convicted: OJ Simpson Found Guilty of Las Vegas Hotel Memorabilia Robbery in 2007! OJ Simpson, the former NFL footballer who got acquitted in 1995 for murdering wife Nicole Brown Simpson, was convicted Friday Oct. 3 in Las Vegas for a confrontation happened at the sin city's Palace Station Hotel-Casino in September, 2007.

The 61-year-old Heisman Trophy winner was found guilty on all 12 counts, including conspiracy to commit robbery and kidnapping, burglary, robbery, assault and coercion, by nine of jurors, none of them were black compared to eight out of twelve when he was cleared of crimes in 2005.

OJ Simpson who was said to appeal now faces up to 25 years or life in the prison. He will be sentenced on December 5, 2008.

O. J. Simpson was found guilty late Friday on all 12 counts stemming from a confrontation in a hotel room last year, including armed robbery and kidnapping.

The verdict, which comes 13 years to the day after Mr. Simpson was acquitted in the highly publicized murders of his ex-wife and her friend, concluded a four-week trial that many have seen as a proxy for those unsatisfied by that 1995 outcome.

Mr. Simpson now faces 15 years to life for the kidnapping charge as well as a minimum of at least an additional 10 years in prison on the other charges. His attorney, Yale Galanter, said he would appeal.

After the verdicts were read, the judge revoked the bail for Mr. Simpson, a Heisman Trophy winner and an inductee in the National Football Hall of Fame. As his sister, Carmelita, wept and fainted in the front row, he was led away in handcuffs. Mr. Simpson is scheduled to be sentenced on Dec. 5.

The charges arose after Mr. Simpson led five cohorts on a raid of a guest room at the Palace Station Hotel-Casino and departed with hundreds of memorabilia items related to the sports careers of Mr. Simpson and three other athletes.

The items were in the possession of two memorabilia dealers, Bruce L. Fromong and Alfred Beardsley, who were led to believe that a prospective buyer was coming to browse the goods. Instead, Mr. Simpson and his group burst into the room. According to several witnesses, at least one gun was brandished.

The presence of a weapon adds years to the minimum sentences for 9 of the 12 charges, which also included conspiracy to commit robbery and kidnapping, burglary, robbery, assault and coercion.

The jury of nine women and three men deliberated for 13 hours, mulling weeks of testimony as well as hours of surreptitious audio recordings of the planning and execution of the event by Thomas Riccio, a memorabilia auctioneer who arranged the confrontation.

There were no blacks among the jurors, a concern of the defense that Mr. Simpson’s attorneys said would likely be part of an appeal. Eight of 12 jurors were black when he was acquitted in 1995 on charges that he stabbed to death his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman.

Convicted alongside Mr. Simpson, 61, was Clarence Stewart, 54, one of the five men who accompanied Mr. Simpson in the raid. Mr. Stewart faces the same sentences.

Ben Goetten, Jersey County State's Attorney told The Telegraph that sheriff deputies were doing a routine check on the Cabin Tavern, located at 29150 Cabin Lane in Dehli at 4:49 p.m. September 18 when they walked in and found bartender Janet Brannon was nude while tending the bar.

Because she was the only bar employee working at the time and the owners had traveled outstation, the tavern was closed by the authorities.

Jannet Brannon was arrested on an outstanding warrant for not to appear in court and charged with a criminal misdemeanor charge of public indecency. She was released on a $8,000 bond.

Israel Mireles (pictured left), the suspected killer of Emily Sander, aka Zoey Zane, who posed as an internet porn model, is going to be extradited to the United States, reported the Associated Press.

The 24-year-old illegal immigrant was alleged of murdering 18-year-old Emily Sander of Kansas Butler County Community College on November 23 in El Dorado, Kansas. Probably after he committed the sins, Israel Mireles took his 16-year-old girlfriend Victoria Martens and fled to the native Mexico.

Israel Mireles was arrested in December at a relative's home after the Mexican authorities received tips. Even since, he has been held pending extradition to stand trial at a US court.

But as a condition of Mexico's agreement with the US to extradit him, Israel Mireles can not be punished by a death sentence once after he is convicted.

Chris Cagle and his girlfriend were being held in a Nashville jail Wednesday morning (May 28) after both were arrested hours earlier on domestic assault charges, according to WTVF-TV in Nashville.

Cagle's latest arrest occurred around 4:40 a.m. Wednesday after he and girlfriend Jennifer Tant visited Players Inn, a bar located west of Nashville in the Bellevue community. Police reports indicate the couple got into a verbal dispute after leaving the bar and that the disagreement apparently escalated into a physical altercation once they arrived at Cagle's home.

After arriving at Cagle's house, officers determined that Cagle and Tant appeared to be intoxicated and that both showed signs of physical abuse. According to a police affidavit, Cagle had a bump on his head caused by Tant hitting him with an umbrella, and Taut had a scrape on her lip and a sore arm from Cagle hitting her with her purse. According to the television station, the couple refused to leave the house, and Tant told police she would rather go to jail than leave Cagle's home.

Cagle and Tant were arrested and taken into custody under Tennessee state domestic violence laws that considered both of them to be a primary aggressor. The law also mandates that both of them remain in jail until 4:40 p.m. Wednesday. Bond has been set at $1,500 each.

Larissa Schuster, pictured above, a biochemist of Clovis, California, was sentenced May 16 to life in jail without parole by Fresno County Superior Court.

The 47-year-old woman was convicted in December of killing Timothy Schuster by knocking him out and stuffing him into a vat of acid - possibly while still alive in 2003. She was accused of committing for financial gain as the couple was in the middle of a fierce divorce battle after nearly 20 years of marriage.

Testifying before the judge, Kristin, Larissa and Timothy  Schuster's adult daughter, said she now felt safer after her mother was to be locked up in the prison.

"I've been living for five years not knowing if I would have to worry for my own safety. In your quest to become a dominating power freak, you became your own demon. You have hurt me for so many years and probably smiled inside, but look who's smiling now." Kristin Schuster said.

Interpol Seeks Second Pedophile

In an attempt to use the same way same that nabbed Canadian pedophile Christopher Paul Neil, Interpol released pictures of a second pedophile to seek the global public's help to unfurl his identify. The man in the combo picture above was believed to sexual abuse at least three boys aged between 3 and 10 years old in a Southeast Asian country that could be Thailand.

Photographs were released by Interpol on Tuesday of a man it says is a pedophile still at large despite a two-year international police investigation.

Neither the man's identity nor his current whereabouts are known.

The photographs were found on a computer hard drive belonging to a man arrested in Norway in 2006 and later charged with the sexual abuse of children.

The six images released by Interpol show a man in his late 50s, with thinning grey hair and glasses, wearing different shirts and from different angles.

In a statement accompanying the images, Interpol Secretary General Ronald Noble said the intent was to prevent more sexual abuse of children.

"We are now asking the public to help identify this predator and protect other potential victims from abuse," the statement says.

Anyone with information about the man’s identity and location should contact their local police. Update: This man has been identified. He is Wayne Nelson Corliss, a US actor who also goes by the stage name of Casey Wane. Link

Victoria Lindsay, is a cheerleader from Mulberry High School, Florida. Lindsay was lured to the home of a friend at 6124 West Calendar Court in Lakeland March 30. In an incident described by Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd as absolutely an animalistic attack which derived from trash talking" on MySpace and through text messaging, Victoria suffered several blows to the head and was knocked unconscious. Now she is recovering. Hope she gets well soon.
