Madonna's Towels Confiscated at Montenegro Customs! Madonna has arrived in the Balkan country Montenegro for her 'Sticky and Sweet' tour's Budva city stop on September 26, but her towels have been intercepted at the border control, China Daily is reporting.

Though those 300 towels are for both for Madonna and tour dancers to use when coming off stage, apparently Montenegro customs officials did not think so and confiscated them simply based on the suspicion why the 4 Minutes singer needs so many, the report said.

"The customs people had never come across that kind of volume of towels for personal use before, or the cost given for them." A source was quoted by the Sun.

Songs for U2's new album in four years, supposedly to be named No Line On The Horizon, were leaked to the online video portal Youtube.com, Dailymail reported. How did this happened? It was because of the carelessness of Bono who played the songs too loudly while vacationing with daughter Memphis Eve and wife Ali Hewson in the Southern France. Excerpts below from the article:

Tracks from rock band U2’s new album have appeared on the internet illegally after singer Bono allegedly played them too loudly at his holiday villa on the French Riviera.

[....]a Dutch fan says he heard music blaring out of the beachside home in the village of Eze-sur-Mere, near Nice, and recorded it on his mobile phone.

He then boasted about his achievement on U2 fan site Interference.com before putting the tunes on YouTube.

The quality is said to be poor - the noise of waves crashing on the beach and seagull cries can be heard in the background, but the new development in the world of pop music piracy is said to have concerned U2 greatly.

Sure Bono's unusual encounter will be a big lesson for those record artists.

Together with Sarah Brightman, 48, is China's male pop singer Liu Huan, 40. The theme song's title and lyrics will not be unveiled until the opening ceremony of the 29th Summer Olympics which is scheduled to start since 8:00PM (GM+8) August 8, 2008.

Paris Hilton is a singer?! The hotel socialite shows her whimsical voice in the just-released official clip of the rock musical movie Repo! The Genetic Oprea. The film was scheduled to hit the screens on November 7, 2008. The movie plot from Wikipedia:

An epidemic of organ failures devastates the planet. Panic erupts and scientists feverishly make plans for a massive organ harvest. Out of the tragedy, GeneCo, a multi-billion dollar biotech company, emerges. GeneCo provides organ transplantation for a profit. In addition to financing options, GeneCo reserves the right to implement default remedies, including repossession. For those who can't keep up with their organ payments, collection is the responsibility of "organ repo men", skilled assassins contracted by GeneCo, ordered to recover GeneCo's property by any means necessary.

At the heart of the story is Shilo Wallace (Alexa Vega), a 17 year-old girl with a rare blood disease. She has been kept locked up and protected in her house, where she is guarded from the outside world by her father, Nathan Wallace (Anthony Head). While Shilo struggles with her wish to leave the house and experience the outside world, Nathan struggles with his secret job as the Repo Man, and more specifically, his next target, a woman named Blind Mag (Sarah Brightman). Blind Mag, an opera singer, was a friend of Nathan's now-deceased wife, and is Shilo's godmother.

The Largo family, consisting of GeneCo president Rotti (Paul Sorvino), his daughter Amber (Paris Hilton), and his two sons Luigi and Pavi (Bill Moseley and Nivek Ogre, respectively), have their own plans. Rotti is dying, and the three siblings bicker and fight about who is to take the role as head of GeneCo. But, disappointed with his own children, Rotti takes an interest in Shilo.

The stories intertwine and merge at the GeneCo opera.

Natalie Cole, the 58-year-old multiple Grammys winning singer, has Hepatitis C!  Natalie, the daughter of noted crooner Nat King Cole, was diagnosed with the liver disease during a routine examination and now treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, reported the various worldwide news outlets. Natalie Cole who once addicted to LSD, cocaine and heroin was believed to have contacted  Hepatitis C virus during  her drug use in 1980's.

Bo Diddley, 79, Died of Heart Failure

Bo Diddley, the legendary Rock & Roll musician who influenced rockers from Buddy Holly, to Bruce Springsteen and U2,  has died of heart failure in Florida. He was 79 years old.

Musician Bo Diddley has died at the age of 79.

The Grammy-winning singer-guitarist died of heart failure in Florida, his spokeswoman [Susan Clary] said.

He had suffered a heart attack in August 2007, three months after suffering a stroke which affected his ability to speak.

He rose to fame in 1955 when he topped the R&B charts with Bo Diddley. His other hits include Who Do You Love, Before You Accuse Me, and Mona.

The legendary singer and performer was known for his homemade square guitar, dark glasses and black hat.
